 DR. Mrs. Betty Ruth Ngozi Iruloh DR. Mrs. Betty Ruth Ngozi Iruloh is a lecturer in the Department of Educational Psychology, Guidance and Counselling of the Faculty of Education, University of Port Harcourt. She obtained an Associate Degree from Degree College Athens, Greece in 1980 and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Psychology in 1982 from the University of La Verne. She holds a post graduate Diploma in Education, a Masters Degree (M.Ed) and Doctorate Degree PhD in Guidance and Counselling.She is an active member of the counselling Association of Nigeria (CASSON). She has served in board of various organisations. She is widely travelled and has published in journals and magazines. She has done in-depth research on the attitude of men towards women and factors affecting the educational aspirations of married women. She is a motivational speaker; she enjoys reading, writing and sports. She is married with children.  Barrister Agbanu Barrister Agbanu is a graduate of the University of Benin. He holds an LL.B degree in Law. He is practices law in Port Harcourt. His area of interest is Corporate Law, Civil Litigation and Arbitration. He is passionate on issue of human rights, conflict prevention and youth mobilization for development.  Lady Chika Asuru Lady Chika Asuru is from Emohua in Rivers State. She is an educator with the Rivers State Post Primary Schools Board. She holds a Bachelor of Education Hons Degree from the University of Ibadan and a Master of Science Degree (MSC) in Economics Development from the University of Port Harcourt. She is very active in social work in the Niger Delta and the country in General. She is the Founder/National Coordinator National Association of Female Teacher (NAFET). She is the Assistant State Co-ordinator Programme for Women in Education (PWE). She is Founder/President Emolga Women Association, Port Harcourt and the Secretary of Education Sub-Committee, Lady of St. Mulumba Corpus Christi Sub-Council, Port Harcourt. She is married with children. Imoh Colins Edozie Imoh Colins Edozie is the Executive Director of Centre for Human Development and Social Transformation (CHDST). He is of the Conflict Transformation Programme of Eastern Mennonite University, Virginia, USA. He holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Management from the University of Cape Town. He has vast experience in grassroots work for local development and youth empowerment. He has received advanced training in project management, communication, accountability and leadership. He attended the course educating for peace in formal and informal education at Negev Institute for Strategies of Peace & Development, Israel. He is an outgoing person, love reading and listening to classical music. He lives among the people of the Niger Delta who produce the oil wealth of Nigeria. Everyday the people are faced with the uncertainty of the future and the frustrations of the present. The people are mostly unemployed or not meaningfully employed. Their land produces the wealth, yet they are poor. Living among them is a challenge to build hope and a belief in the future. He worked at the United Nations Organisation of Youth (UNOY), international Secretariat in Netherlands, as the Africa Desk Coordinator till 2003. He has facilitated various projects for different organizations like: Africa Youth Parliament, Nairobi, UNOY Foundation, Freetown, Africa Renaissance Network, Makurdi, Child Rights Organisation, Aba, Children of the Earth, Inc, USA, Apeadu Peace Center, Aburi, among many others. Austin Onuoha Austin has a BA in History, MA in Conflict Transformation and currently completed studies for a PhD in conflict analysis and resolution from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, USA. In 2001 Austin won the Ashoka Fellowship for his ground breaking work on utilising conflict energy for development. He also won the the Misereor grant for formation. And in 2004 he won the Cordaid grant for book publishing. Austin is the author of the book: From Conflict to Collaboration, building peace in Nigeria's oil-producing communities. Austin is an accomplished peace builder, he trains, researches and engages in speaker's tour. Austin is a restorative justice enthusiast. He is married and has two children.  Rev. Fr. Polycarp Henetu Rev. Fr. Polycarp Henetu Holds a bachelors degrees in Philosophy (B.Phil) and Theology (B.th) from URBAN UNIVERSITY ROME. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from University of Port Harcourt Nigeria and Masters degree in Educational Psychology ( M.ed) inview.
Fr. Henetu has extensive experience working with young persons; in his role as chaplain for various youth organizations Port Harcourt from 1996 to 2001. Some of these organizations are; 1. Catholic youth organization of Nigeria (C.Y.O. N) 2. Man of order and discipline movement (M.O.D). 3. Young Catholic student of Nigeria (Y.C.S.N). 4. Nigerian Federation Catholic Students (N. F.C.S). 5.National Association of Catholic Corpers (N.A.C.C) 6. Boys Scout of Nigeria
He is a reference point and a resource person for youth matters both in Nigeria and outside the country. He is presently the Rector of Sacred Heart Minor Seminary Port Harcourt. A position he has held for the since 2001. His best moment is when he has opportunity to teach those who are ready to learn.  Dr. P.C. Emelue Dr. P.C. Emelue is the Executive Director of Community Development Partners. He holds a B.Sc Agricultural Economics Degree from University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, USA in 1978. An MBA Management from Corpus Christi State University, Corpus – Christi, Texas, USA in 1981 and a PhD in Business Administration from Century University, Beverly Hills, California, USA in 1984.
He is a member of various professional bodies including: Associate member of the Institute of Cost and Executive Accounts England. Associate member of Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria.
His vision is to build the capacity of youths in developing countries. He has over 15 years experience in integrated development programmes in Africa. He is poised for the challenging role of good governance, creating job opportunities for young persons, building capacities for political office holders, civil servants and management of micro-enterprises on a self sustaining basis.
He led the team of experts to design and package the small and medium scale enterprise component of the Niger Delta Master Plan for Sustainable Development.
He has been involved in many projects including community based needs Assessments; community needs assessment and plan development, Rapid Rural Assessment (RRA), Participatory Learning and Action (PLA). He has consulted for various organisations including the multinational oil companies and international organisations. |
